Sonic Forces: Episode Shadow DLC Announced
SEGA have announced that Shadow the Hedgehog will be making an appearance in upcoming Sonic Forces, as he will be getting his own DLC.
Dubbed "Episode Shadow" the DLC will offer a number of new stages that will also include Shadow the Hedgehog as a playable character. Interestingly is that the DLC will act as a prequel to the events of Sonic Forces and according to the trailer description promises to explore “Shadow’s allegiance, the fate of Team Dark, and the origin of the mysterious villain, Infinite.”
Episode Shadow will be released as a free add-on to Sonic Forces at launch and also allow players to play as Shadow the Hedgehog in over 10 stages in the main game when replaying levels.
Sonic Forces will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on 7th November, 2017.

Wait - Team Dark? Sonic Heroes is canon? I figured they quietly ignored the fact that groups of three held hands for several days to save the world.
