Sony UK Discounts Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Sony have discounted Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on the UK PlayStation Store.

Although retailers are still selling for £29.99 on PS4 and Xbox One, Sony have dropped the price on the digital version of the game to £24.99.  Several retailers have followed suit on their websites, with Amazon selling for less than £24 and Game selling for £27.99.  The PS3 version is £19.99 on PSN, but £22 on Amazon.

Although the PSN doesn't state it as with usual price cuts, this could turn out to be a limited offer.  On the other hand, they may be trying to get more people buying the digital version.

As this price drop was all Sony's idea, the Xbox One and 360 versions have no such discount on the Xbox Store.

The bargain price compared to other recent releases is due to the game being much shorter than others, as we covered in our review.
