Steam Year in Review 2023 Is Here!

Steam Year in Review 2023 Is Here!

Last year, Steam joined in on the nostalgic trend of looking back to the last year over everything that occurred. Though most companies focus on things like the most searched-for items on Google or HowLongToBeat's 2023 In Review, Steam likes to concentrate on #1 — you.

Your Steam Year in Review 2023 features a slew of stats that you can get, giving you a walk through your entire year's worth of gaming and what sort of things you got on to. From how many unique games you played to how many achievements you unlocked and even your longest streak of gaming (days played consecutively), this is a great way to check out what happened over the year.

With the release of the Steam Year in Review 2023, you can also add it as part of your Steam profile! The unique showcase released last year for Steam Year In Review 2022 gives everyone a glimpse at your profile and what you played the most and lets them press it to browse through your entire history. If you're the private type of person, you can also set this page visibility to Private or Friends Only, in case you have something you don't want anyone to see (for instance, last year, I had House Party as one of my most-played games, which made a year-long joke about me being a sex addict).

If you already have the Year In Review 2022 and want to be able to display it, you can also head over to the Points Shop and select the Showcases section; from there, you can purchase a second YEAR IN REVIEW to showcase both of them in your profile for just 6,000 points. This way, you can show the progression of your gaming, which titles stuck between both years and show off your last two years of gameplay in your profile!
