Styx: Shards of Darkness Announced

Fans of prog rock Stealth games and goblins will both be pleased to see that Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive are creating a new game in the Styx series. Styx: Shards of Darkness is set to continue where Styx: Master of Shadows left off.

The new title will be utilising the Unreal 4 engine and the developers say it will feature a richer and more in depth story, starring the titular Styx the goblin once more. This time, his mission will be to infiltrate Körangar, the city of the Dark Elves.

In what seems like a perfectly times co-incidence, the first Styx game (itself a spin off of another title; Of Orcs and Men) is part of the Steam Stealth Sale and as such, can be picked up for two thirds off until the sale ends on 16th October.

The new title is expected to be released in 2016 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
