Sword of the Necromancer Releases Its Biggest Update Yet

Developers JanduSoft S.L and Grimorio of Games have released their biggest ever update for their monster-summoning action roguelike, Sword of the Necromancer. Since its launch in late January 2021, Sword of the Necromancer has shot to the top 30 games downloaded in NA and Europe on the Nintendo eShop, and after listening to feedback from these players, an update was pushed out to address this feedback.

An Item Bag has been added, which allows players to store up to four items, and is accessible at any time. Items stored in the bag are not ‘in-use’, and thus don’t generate any active or passive effects, and monsters stored in the bag are not healed over time. The bag is available after the tutorial is complete, and is enabled by default. New options have been added to the game settings, allowing players to recall monsters from anywhere, start the game on the floor you last played, and enable/disable the new Item Bag., and the game settings screen will pop up by default after completing the tutorial. As well as this, several minor bugs and crashes have been fixed. Sword of the Necromancer is available on Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
