System Requirements for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition Revealed

The upcoming release of Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition has seen its system requirements revealed via a listing on the Microsoft Store. 

The PC release of the massive JRPG will include support for 4K and 8K resolutions, HDR10 and Dolby Atmos surround sound to name a few new additions. On top of that the director of the game, Hajime Tabata has mentioned that the team might even include a level editor as well as mod support for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition. With so much included with the game you might think you will need a strong machine but the minimum requirements are surprisingly low. 

Minimum system requirements: 

• OS: Windows 10
• DirectX: Version 11
• Memory: 8GB
• Processor: Intel Core i5 2400 or AMD FX 6100 processor
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX760

Recommended system requirements:

• OS: Windows 10
• DirectX: Version 11
• Memory: 16GB
• Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 or AMD FX 8350 processor
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060

It is worth noting that though the system requirements were revealed via the Microsoft Store that they are subject to change as Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is still in development. 

Final Fantasy XV is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the PC version coming next year along with a mobile release as well. The upcoming Comrades DLC has been delayed until early November.
