T.E.R.R.A hits Kickstarter

Coming to PC, MacOS and Linux in April, Irish developer Starcave Entertainment has taken to kickstarter to increase funding for hybrid FPS . RTS T.E.R.R.A. 

Also released via the Steam Greenlight program, T.E.R.R.A. supports instant swapping between FPS & RTS. Fast paced Real Time Strategy wrapped around the FPS, set in an future realistic Solar System.

The pitch on kickstarter says 

The unique highlight of the game is the ability to swap instantly between FPS and RTS at anytime, anywhere. This brings with a press of a button a whole new level of game-play swapping at will between FPS/RTS. T.E.R.R.A.brings is a fresh approach to both genre's while maintaining the important game-play experiences of both. At the core of the game it is an FPS game with strong RTS parts - fast and fluid gaming.

 

With gameplay modes such as Deathmatch, CTF, Escape, Conquest, Arena and new mode Formations, the variety of game play and ability to switch from FPS to RTS looks intriguing to say the least.
