Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker Was Funded in Under an Hour on Kickstarter!

Gentle Troll Entertainment released a Kickstarter for a standalone prequel to their successful game, Tavern Talk - A Cozy Visual Novel. As its predecessor, the title will be a visual novel inspired by Dungeons & Dragons!

Playing as the owner of the tavern, players will experience a new seaside locale. The first playthrough is expected to last eight to 10 hours, and it offers branching stories, multiple endings, and the same gameloop of the original. This means there's no tavern management or economy but drink-mixing and visual novel gameplay.

Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker's campaign began on the 27th of January, and their €15,000 Kickstarter goal was hit in under an hour! At the time of writing, there are still 23 days left, and players have pledged €50,495 so far.  That means a whopping seven stretch goals have been smashed!

 These are the rewards unlocked so far:

• The game has been funded.
• Cyrus Nemati (who voices various characters in Hades and Hades II) will voice the intro cutscene.
• The 19 digital Dreamwalker-themed character sheets for D&D 5e have been unlocked.
• A classic version of Calling on the Wind (only piano, cello, and Lilith Max's voice).
• An in-game Lorepage has been unlocked, which will offer information about the world and characters, available to the base game.
• The extension of the lorebook, which will be free for previous lorebook owners.
• 15 Dreamwalker drinks as digital and print-ready D&D item cards.
• Tavern Talk's lo-fi EP.
• In-game decorations for the tavern's background from the original Tavern Talk, which will be available with the base game.
• There will be 15 drinks instead of 12.
• Drinks will be fully animated.
• Three additional animations for Captain Beebug.
• In-game coasters will have star signs on them.

There are many more tiers to unlock, and even more days to hit the goals, as the Kickstarter still has 23 more days to go!
