Terraria Update 1.2.4 Released on PC

The 1.2.4 update for Terraria went live for PC players today with new items, new mechanics, graphical updates, cross over items from Pixel Piracy and, of course, bug fixes all included.

Announcing the update on the game's forums developer Redigit announced that the 1.2.4 update came as part of the teams efforts to release small patches to minimise the wait between patches as they work on releasing the 1.3 'Lunar' update.

As many of you know we decided to pull several of the mechanics and features from the Lunar Update and do them in a smaller update to minimize the wait for a patch. Now that this is out of the way we will be putting our full attention on the Lunar. Lazure has already been hard at work creating assets for the event and Crowno has a pretty awesome idea for the final boss of the event.
