The Full Character Roster for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has finally launched, which means that we now know the full roster of characters that we can look forward to taking on the role of. Just ahead of the release on the 23rd of July 2026, we got a look at the last few characters joining, rounding out the 12 characters that would be available at launch.

With just a dozen characters, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is launching with a small roster, considering other industry competitors sometimes have more. That said, it's an expansive list of some fan-favourite characters.

Here are all of the launch characters:

• Avatar Aang
• Aang
• Zuko
• Katara
• Toph
• Sokka
• Azula
• Kyoshi
• Ozai
• Korra
• Nightmare Korra
• Zaaher

For those who were hoping to have their favourite characters be part of the roster, all hope isn't lost yet. Further DLC and post-launch support is planned for the fighting game, and it already has a Year 1 Pass confirmed with five additional characters (one of which is yet to be decided by those who pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition).

Here are the Year 1 Characters:

• Iroh
• Ty Lee
• Lin Beifong
• Bolin

We don't have an official release date for any of these, and it's likely that they'll be released in the order that they're shown in the Year 1 Pass image. Still, nothing's set in stone until developer Gameplay Group International makes an official statement about their launch dates.

Finally, there's a list of five characters up for voting that'll make the final character in the first-year DLC.
