The MIX Fall Game Showcase 2025: Slain 2: The Beast Within

Dark-fantasy side-scroller Slain 2: The Beast Within was shown off at this year’s MIX indie autumn event. It’s like Altered Beast, but more badass! Charge from left to right, smacking down all manner of beasties with a huge weapon until you yourself become the beast, swapping your sword for werewolf claws. Once you throw in the dark and gloomy gothic atmosphere, it seems to come together as a neat little medieval-fantasy outing.

Unfortunately, we’re not given any release date, see keep your eyes peeled.
