The Wild Gentlemen Drops RetroSpace Reveal Trailer

The Wild Gentlemen have officially announced RetroSpace, a disco-punk, space-horror FPS title. If you enjoyed the indie studio’s funny, noir-style game Chicken Police: Paint It Red, you’ll be happy to hear that RetroSpace will feature a lot of humour along with a deep narrative, unique sci-fi art style, and horror. 

The immersive, “new-retro” experience of RetroSpace aims to be fresh and nostalgic. The team revealed on Twitter that they chose the name to “fit a pulpy, B-movie vibe,” which is appropriately demonstrated as the trailer showcases modern gameplay paired with funky disco music. You’ll also notice the studio draws inspiration from well-loved series like Thief (2014), System Shock 2, Deus Ex, and Half-Life.
