This Week's Top Followed Game is Out Now: Typing Farmer

This week has a lot of big games coming out, as plenty of big titles look forward to their official launch. Of course, one of the ones that was set to launch has already been released, titled Typing Farmer!

Developed and published by MilkwayStudio, this idle typing game keeps track of your key strokes and gives you rewards for doing it. Players are tasked with raising a farm on their keyboard, with different items placed throughout the keys.

The full title now adds a variety of crops that players can grow, including plants, fruits, flowers, fantasy plants, and a money tree. There are 38 different ones to plant and take advantage of, giving you the freedom to plant and grow the ones you like most.

There are also 13 total animals for players to add to the keyboard farm. Players can feed their favourite foods, growing the farm by adding a variety of them and customising it to their liking.

Decoration takes place in the form of items you can lay throughout the keyboard-layout-like farm, bringing to life the cosy elements of building and adding your favourite items. It extends beyond that, however, as animals also can have outfits, giving them cute looks that fit the aesthetic players might want to go for.

There are tons of new features as well that have been updated from the demo that was available, including a multiplayer mode, collection system, order systems, tablet support, and an easy mode where the keyboard display is hidden. There are also plenty of quality-of-life updates that Milkway Studio added from the feedback players had about the title.

For those who come from the demo, some of the content carries over to the final version, but several others — due to incompatibility and changes with the full launch — had to be reset. As it stands, in the former category are animals and some coins, whereas decorations, keystroke count, crop unlock progress, magic bean progress, and animal outfits belong in the latter category.

You can pick up the title for £3.99 or as part of a bundle with other idle titles that take your inputs, such as Tap Tap Loot, Maltese's Fluffy Onsen, Tiny Pasture, and Fishers Fishing Journey, getting a unique discount for owning part of the items.
