Ubisoft have revealed a new title in the form of Tom Clancy's XDefiant, a free-to-play 6-v-6 arena first-person shooter featuring characters and factions from the Tom Clancy universe.
Developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, Tom Clancy's XDefiant aims to deliver a fast-paced first-person shooter experience where players will need to use all of their abilities and skill to win. Featuring characters from other Tom Clancy games, players will join a Faction - said to be similar to a 'class' - and then enter the battlefield to do battle.
On top of that, the developers are promoting plenty of opportunities to personalise your characters both in terms of look and loadout, along with wishing to develop a community for both casual and competitive play.
While the game was not given a release date, players can sign up for an early test of the game played for 5th August, 2021 over on the games official website, here.
Tom Clancy's XDefiant is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Luna, and Stadia, with full crossplay expected at launch.
