Top-rated Steam PC Games Released Last Week (13th–19th of July 2026)

There are hundreds of games releasing on Steam every week, and it's hard to keep track of the best ones launching. For this reason, we started our weekly article, where we showcase all of the top titles that have high ratings on Steam, each of which launched over the last week.

Of course, there are a few things we need to talk about for this week's entry. The first is that we do the review rating based on the "ALL REVIEWS" numbers rather than the "RECENT REVIEWS". Part of this is because we use the SteamDB rating algorithm to decide which titles go above others, part of it is because we believe that overall ratings are an important metric for players to know how well the game was doing in Early Access titles.

Now, because of the inclusion of Palworld (top of the list), one thing that we want to talk about is that games will be allowed to appear on this list twice: their first, Early Access launch, and their subsequent 1.0 release after that. If the title was well-reviewed in both instances, then we think it's worth a shoutout, especially because a 1.0 launch is a vastly different experience from the Early Access one.

Finally, because we're hoping to platform the best games of the week, we're also removing anything that has an AI Generated Content Disclosure. We're looking to highlight the greatest games that came out this week and give players a cool set of titles to check out, all the while platforming the developers that are keeping our industry human. For this reason, and our anti-AI stance, we're removing anything that has a disclosure.

Tri City Beasts was at a 96% positive rating with 77 total reviews across all languages before they came out. Now, for its 1.0 release, Studio Peaches decided that the team will monetise the full release following the controversies and issues that arose from Collective Shout and the continued censorship of adult-only content.

Now that it's a paid experience, all of the reviews will have faded, and the Steam page says there are no reviews. It's worth noting that this is a byproduct of the Steam "product received for free" system that stops those who get free products (like reviewers such as myself) from affecting the score, to prevent generating thousands of keys and giving them away to inflate positive reviews.

Finally, it's also worth noting that this might not truly reflect player intention. The top review, by user ghxst, mentions that they were enjoying the game before the 1.0 release, and they wouldn't think the entry fee is worth the experience that's out. There's no way to verify the exact review intention based on the pricing, but we're including it because it was a highly reviewed title during its Early Access journey.
