Total War: Britannia Release Date Pushed Back
Creative Assembly has announced that their upcoming RTS title, Total War: Britannia will now debut on PC two weeks later than originally planned.
The release date, which was pushed back from April 19th 2018 to May 3rd 2018, was pushed back in order to incorporate changes they would have been otherwise unable to introduce.
In a recent blog post, Creative Assembly's Michael Whalen stated "We’d like to buy ourselves a bit more time for the final push, so we’ve made the call to nudge the release date back by two weeks, from April 19th to May 3rd. Alongside our usual prelaunch procedures, we’re adding and tweaking a few features we wouldn’t otherwise have time for."
During this time, Creative Assembly will focus on updating the game's UI, intorudcing new features such as allowing the player to more easily view the different sources feeding into their Fervour level. In addition to UI updates, the delay will also allow creative assembly to focus on improving upon the game's campaign AI ensuring aggression levels and army sizes suitable for each different difficulty level.
