Unannounced Cooking Mama Game has Appeared on Australian and German Rating Sites

It appears that a new Cooking Mama game is in the works, with the title Cooking Mama: Cookstar appearing on Australian and German rating sites.

According to German USK, Cooking Mama: Cookstar will not only be appearing on the Nintendo Switch (an obvious evolutionary step considering the franchises history on Nintendo handhelds), but it will also be making an appearance on PlayStation 4.

The title is also apparently being developed by First Playable Productions, who are most well known for their licensed games such as Ben 10: Alien Experience and Big Hero 6: Battle in the Bay. Lesser known publisher Planet Entertainment will be publishing the game, which indicates that this will be a smaller budget title.

It’s currently unknown when Cooking Mama: Cookstar will be receiving an official announcement, however a Nintendo Direct announcement seems likely. With Nintendo usual hosting Direct’s during September, we may get a look at the game sooner rather than later.
