Under The Island Announces Release Date with a New Trailer!

Slime King Games are delighted to announce that Under The Island has a set release date via their publisher, Top Hat Studios, Inc., and there's a lot to look forward to.

Under The Island is a 2D action-adventure RPG that is coated in '90s charm. With art by Simone Grünewald (the former art director of Daedalic Entertainment) this will be a 2D exploration that will bring you to the world of Seashell Island.

Seashell Island has a host of different biomes. Tropical villages, dusty deserts rife with sentient walking pots who despise you, and the chilly ice caps of Bran Bran Peak where cereal is mined. You'll discover all kinds of things, where you'll face foes and challenges with your trusty hockey stick in hand. Gain new abilities by finding new treasures within dungeons, via minigames, or by simply searching around. But don't forget that you can trade with locals, or even negotiate with the island's unique fauna.

Under The Island focuses on the player's own role of exploration, so it's up to you to search through all the nooks and crannies. With a shovel, a trumpet, and a bird, you'll create a new path and meet other adventurers on your journey as Nia. After all, you'll need to explore all six regions to ensure that Seashell Island doesn't sink under the ocean.
