Want a Nigiri Plush? Help Moldwasher by Pledging $2!

Rubel Games and Anshar Publishing recently released a cosy but humorous 2D cleaning simulator called Moldwasher! If you'd like to know more about the game, you can read our review here.

The team recently announced that they want to make a plushie based on their main character, who is a nigiri. By pledging $2, players can help the idea come to life; they need a total of 200 pledges to begin production. This is what they had to say,

“Once we reach 300 units, we’ll receive a small percentage of the profit margin from each additional sushi plushie sold. We’re being completely transparent about this because we want you to know that the sushi plushie was our dream. From the very beginning, we wanted to give the Moldwasher character a second, physical life. We’re not doing this for profit. We simply want this adorable hero cleaner to come live with you and - maybe! - help you clean up in real life.”

If you'd like to help and be part of the kick-starting of the production, you can do so over at Makeship's website! Please keep in mind you won't only pay the $2 for the plushie. On the site, they state what a pledge is:

“Making a pledge means you pay $2.00 now and we'll charge the remaining $27.99 (+ shipping and tax) when the product launches in 1-4 months. If the petition fails, you'll get a refund.”

Moldwasher is available on Steam now! Until the 7th of July, it's also at a 10% discount, dropping the price to £5.48.
