Vampyr, the upcoming narrative-driven action-RPG from Life Is Strange creators DONTNOD Entertainment, is only a couple of weeks from release. Ahead of the game's release, the developers showcased an hour of new gameplay footage and answered questions direct from the community on a Twitch livestream which you can watch here.
For those unfamiliar with the title, Vampyr takes place during the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic in London, and follows Jonathan Reid, a doctor who has turned into a vampire. Redi must come to terms with his undead condition as he is torn between the Hippocratic Oath and his newfound bloodthirsty nature. Promising deep, complex gameplay systems, moral choices, and branching endings based on the player's actions, Vampyr looks set to be potentially be the first vampire game to match cult classic Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodines.
Vampyr releases 5th June on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and a final developer stream will take place on 4th June.
