Watch the New Video for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault and Learn About the Ongoing Playtest!
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is being developed by Digital Sun and published by 11 bit studios, and it's set to release to Early Access on Steam. Recently, the team released a video where they talk about the feedback they've received and how they reviewed it and worked on improving the experience.
Their latest video touches on the changes implemented. Here's what players can expect has changed:
- The ability to set prices: items now have quality values instead.
- Returning clients.
- A calendar system that will make some items more valuable on specific days.
- Decorations will offer unique effects, making the shop its own way of building the character.
- The chaos has been toned down to bring back the calmer rhythm of the original title.
- Dungeons have been tweaked, as maps are only partially revealed to offer risks and rewards.
- Secret rooms, quests, and mini-bosses have been added to dungeons.
- Combat has been improved to feel lighter and more balanced.
If you're considering participating in the new playtest, here are a few known issues you may encounter:
- Low resolution and FPS on the initial cutscene on the Steam Deck.
- Text in the UI may be blurry at times.
Additionally, if played on the Steam Deck, it's suggested to set everything on Low and either No Upscaling or set the default profile in FSR3.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will be available on Steam's Early Access on the 19th of November. Remember to offer feedback if you join the playtest!
