Watch the Release Date Announcement Trailer for Greenhearth Necromancer!

Developed by Silverstring Media Inc. and published by indie.io, Greenhearth Necromancer is an upcoming semi-idle cosy witch game where players will take care of various plants, including dead ones!

As a young necromancer, players will tend to their late grandmother's garden. While they didn't inherit her green thumb, they've got their necromancy skills to fall back on, allowing them to bring plants back to life or even care for spectral flowers!

Aside from caring for the garden, players can look forward to learning and casting spells, brewing potions, and exploring a narrative that they can tackle at their own pace. This is where the semi-idle features come into play, as the game can run in the background to accompany them throughout the day!

Greenhearth Necromancer offers a no-pressure narrative that players can tackle at their own pace, where they will get to know various neighbours — and their grandmother's familiar spirit — as they care for the garden. The story, brought to life by the BAFTA-nominated writer from I Was a Teenage Exocolonist, tackles various subjects, such as grief and the natural cycle of life and death.

Here's what Greenhearth Necromancer offers:

  • A garden to care for, left behind by the protagonist's late grandmother.
  • Various plants to grow, including dead and spectral ones!
  • Repel pests, add fertiliser, and water plants to keep them healthy.
  • A narrative written by a BAFTA-nominee from I Was a Teenage Exocolonist.
  • Meet various neighbours and uncover the deeper story.
  • A semi-idle and stress-free experience.

If you'd like to try it out, there's a demo available on Steam! Greenhearth Necromancer is set to release on the 11th of May.
