When Does League of Legends Classic Launch?

In the latest League of Legends Dev Update, we had the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming League of Legends Classic mode. It's been a while since we've seen teasers, with the video that announced its upcoming launch, but we hadn't known specifics for a while.

The exciting part is that the cat is out of the bag, and we've learned about the upcoming mode. Featuring all sorts of nostalgic characters, items, and even the old rune system, there's going to be a lot for players to enjoy, whether newcomers who want to experience what League of Legends grew from or old-timers who want to enjoy an older season they partook in.

The official launch date isn't too far away, either. With Patch 26.14 just releasing, we're looking at just one more update before we get to enjoy the League of Legends classic game mode.

You are being recalled, summoners, as the League of Legends classic game mode is releasing on the next patch. This will be on 26.15, which — according to the League of Legends patch schedule — will be on the 29th of July, 2026.
