When is the Final Steam Next Fest of 2026?

The second Steam Next Fest of the year has officially passed, giving players a chance to enjoy over 8,000 demos throughout its duration. Plenty of titles were included in the list, and we got to see some great titles, indie, online, and AAA alike.

Those who follow the Steam Next Fests closely know that there are three such events throughout the year, giving players the opportunity to check out dozens of demos each time. The first for 2026 was during February, with the second launching during June, which means that the next one will be the final Steam Next Fest of the year, as we wait for 2027 to roll around.

The final Steam Next Fest of the year is set to come out during October, as the Steam Next Fest October 2026 edition will launch on the 19th of October, and stick around for its usual week, ending on the 26th of October. This event will take place after the Steam Autumn Sale 2026, which is a bit of a bummer for those who enjoy using demos as a trial before making purchases, with the Winter Sale 2026 coming out a few months after the fact.
