After almost four and a half years in Steam early access, Bugbear Entertainment, racing game veteran creators of FlatOut 1 and 2 and Ultimate Carnage, is finally ready to unleash their high-octane, smash 'em up racer Wreckfest upon the world.
Packed with real-life physic simulations, Wreckfest is as much a demolition derby simulator as a racer. In this game, cars have style - with a plethora of customization and upgrade options and a hefty lineup of cars, and they're meant to be admired from up-close too...possibly while smashing yourself into the passenger's seat of the next person in line.
The full-release game will feature brand new modes like a challenge mode, which puts players in the driver seat of unconventional racers like crop harvesters, as well as all new customization options to cobble together that perfect blend of style and function to give you an edge against your hapless opponents.
Wreckfest launches its full release on 14th June, 2018. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One racers will have to cool their engines for a bit longer, but can expect to join the fun in November.
