Xbox Games Showcase GC 2025: Kill the Brickman

The first trailer we got a look at during the Xbox Games Showcase was none other than Kill the Brickman! Developed by Doonutsaur and published by poncle, Kill the Brickman offers players the opportunity to battle against brick people with guns, completing missions and reincorporating arcade gameplay.

The gameplay incorporates brick-breaking action, but not the Breakout version players might be used to. Equipping a variety of guns, you'll need to gather different bullets, create combos, and outsmart the brickmen by blasting them.

Kill the Brickman is a roguelike deck-building strategy title, as you'll pick the character (gun) you want to start with and accept challenges along the way. Fortune favours the bold, however, and if you're feeling confident, you can accept extra missions for more rewards... and risk failing the run.

Kill the Brickman is out now on Steam for £3.99, but there's an introductory discount for 10%, which lets you pick it up for £3.59 until the 28th of August 2025.
