Yooka-Laylee Shows Off New Locations In New Trailer
Playtonic Games have released a new trailer to coincide with gamescom 2016, showcasing more moves, locations and gameplay segments for the 3D platformer.
The spiritual successor to the original Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee is being crafted by many of the same team from their Rare days. Playtonic are trying to bring the classic 3D platformer to a new generation of gamers whilst tugging on the nostalgia for gamers with fond memories of the N64 classics.
As in Banjo, in Yooka-Laylee you control a pair of anthropomorphic animal that work together, Laylee the bat and Yooka the chameleon. Laylee handles the gliding whilst Yooka gets a good workout. The trailer shows off a lot of the pairs moveset whilst displaying more of the environment work.
Yooka-Laylee is due for release in the first quarter of 2017 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and WiiU.
