A Buyer's Guide to the Steam Summer Sale - Day Two

So, the Steam Summer Sale has hit and it’s full of delicious gamey goodness. But which ones are worth buying? We offer up our humble opinions on the best of the bunch, every day, as well as whether you can find the games at a better price elsewhere.

If you like your tense horror games, then Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is definitely worth picking up. But don’t just get the one, you can get the Amnesia Collection for just £4.79, which is a huge 80% discount.

Of course, Telltale’s The Walking Dead is one of the best games of the last decade, the most recent episode getting a crazily good 9.5/10 from us! If you haven’t already played it, you should definitely be picking up the first and second seasons, which both have 50% off. We can’t find a better deal anywhere else.

Prison Architect might still be in early access, stages but it’s still a damn good game. There’s lots of different tiers available too, so make sure you check out all the bonuses that come with the more expensive ones, as you might find yourself a bit tempted (name in game? yes please!)

If you’re the creative type then RPG Maker VX Ace might just be the thing for you. It is a huge software program and resource to help you make the RPG of your dreams. If you’d like to let your imagination run wild and perhaps create the next big indie game in the process then this is a worthy investment. Especially at £12.49.

Lastly, we LOVE Game Dev Tycoon. If you’re looking for a fun game to seriously sink some hours into, then this is the one. It has a great sense of humour and is deceptively addictive. And for less than £3, it’s a bloody good deal.

If you can find any of these games, or others in the Steam Summer Sale for a better price elsewhere then let us know in the comments! Share that knowledge to the community!
