Blades of Fire Steam Demo Shows Off the Photo Mode Coming to 2.0

Blades of Fire was released on the Epic Game Store on the 22nd of May 2025, and since then, the exclusivity period seems to be coming to an end. Now, MercurySteam and 505 Games are bringing the experience to Steam, inviting an all-new audience to join in on the fun.

Now, with the upcoming release date set on the 14th of May 2026, Blades of Fire on Steam, there is going to be a major 2.0 release, bringing new content like a New Game+ and more. One of these elements has been added to the Steam demo, inviting players to check out what's awaiting in 2.0.

The latest video shared in a collaboration between the Blades of Fire and 505 Games YouTube channels shows off a look at the Photo Mode that players can expect to launch in the update. This gives them the chance to capture their journey in whatever ways they want, framing the pictures and immortalising their favourite moments.
