Echoes of Aincrad Shows Off Narrative in Latest Trailer

Game Studio Inc. and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. are working on bringing a brand-new Sword Art Online game. This time, however, it's bringing the players into the experience from a more intimate perspective that we haven't explored before.

Echoes of Aincrad has players exploring the world as a customisable character stuck in the game. Partaking in parallel to some stories from Sword Art Online, players will be given the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of the gameplay, explore the beautiful world, and even enable the notorious perma-death that's part of the narrative.

In a new trailer released on the official BANDAI NAMCO Europe YouTube channel, we got a look at the story elements that we can expect. It's two minutes of cutscenes without any gameplay elements that lay out the narrative that players will be enjoying throughout.
