Everything We Know is Coming to Spirit City: Lofi on the Upcoming Update!

Mooncube Games recently unveiled the roadmap 2025 and beyond, which showcased some of the features, changes, and additions they're aiming for throughout the next few months.

After a bit of teasing, they've unveiled a lot of what players can expect from the Winter Update, which is releasing very soon. We know that their UI has been built from scratch to accommodate what the future may bring! This includes some highly requested features.

The UI can now be customised, as players can choose the text size and colour, and the team promises they're working on further accessibility options in the future. The overhaul also helped them prepare everything for the upcoming controller support, which will arrive in 2026!

A highly requested clothing option has been added: dresses! They come with their very own category, which will replace the top and bottom sections, "Outfits". While there are a few dresses to try out in this update, there are more to come in future updates.

For those who love their Spirits (as everyone should) and want to spend more time with them, there's good news: a new activity is coming to do just that! Each pet will have its own animation. Lenny, for example, drops on his back and paws at a cat toy.

The last bit of sneak peek we got is the upcoming changes to the Avatar's ears. There will be various new styles, from human ones to longer or droopy elf-like ears, and even none at all!

While that's all the team shared, it's not the only additions to look forward to, as we got a glimpse of some of the new decorations (including a window background for owners of the All Aboard DLC) during one of the images.
