Expeditions: Samurai Shares Second Dev Update in New Behind the Story Trailer

The brand-new entry into the Expeditions franchise is just a few weeks away from release, and we're getting more looks at what sort of content we can look forward to. This time, the second dev update for Expeditions: Samurai, where players will be heading to Sengoku-era Japan.

The new dev update gives us a look at how history played a role in the development of the campaign. Starting from the library, the team learned as much as they could about the era, and the budget even allowed them to hire a historical consultant, who has helped make the experience far more true-to-life.

The newest two-minute dev update gives us a look at the story and the content that we can expect, such as eight romanceables with unique stories, and how they each affect the overarching narrative. There's plenty to learn here for fans who are looking forward to the upcoming title and wouldn't want to miss out on it.
