Gothic 1 Remake Has a Release Trailer!

Developed by Piranha Bytes and published by THQ Nordic, Gothic 1 Remake is the upcoming rerelease of the classic with modernised changes. In this fantasy open-world title, the kingdom of Myrtana is being ravaged by war after the Orcish hordes invaded human lands... and players' got their backs against the wall in prison.

Named The Colony, the magically barricaded zone holds anyone who has broken the law and been sentenced to mine the needed ore for the king. Anyone can pass the barrier, but no one can get out of it, and now the prisoners are revolting.

The population inside is split into three factions, and now, they're forcing those outside to negotiate for the ore they can no longer reach. Players have to find a way to survive the volatile alliances and find a way to escape!

Here's everything you can expect from Gothic 1 Remake:
