House Flipper Remastered Collection Releases 10th Hotfix Including Various Changes

Frozen Way and Frozen District released the definitive edition of their franchise-starter House Flipper. With the launch of House Flipper Remastered Collection, the team was hoping to create a package that would include all of the DLC for the game, bring some graphical upgrades, and make it a more compact, advanced experience for newcomers and veterans alike.

While it was a highly anticipated title leading up to its launch, House Flipper Remastered Collection failed to meet the expectations of players around the world, and it launched to negative reception. On Steam, it received the Mixed review rating, which is only available for titles that fail to hit the over 70% recommendations needed for Mostly Positive. With the title sitting at 65% positive reviews, it has just missed the mark.

A big chunk of the negative feedback came from its buggy release, which made the otherwise cosy experience frustrating to play. Disappearing grass, clipping water from water-side homes, and messed-up lighting were just some of the complaints players had for the launch, which went as far as crashes and save corruptions.

So, ever since its launch on the 4th of June 2026, the team has been hard at work to release updates to bring House Flipper Remastered Collection to its desired state. It's been a month (almost exactly) of updates, of which the team has launched 10 official hotfixes to bring highly requested community features, upgrades, and more.

Hotfix #10 brings some quality-of-life features, bug fixes and mission polish, visual and shader changes to fit the aesthetic the team was aiming for, and stability and technical changes. Perhaps the most exciting part of these are the features that arrived, which make House Flipper Remastered Collection a bit more of a "completed" experience.

Here's what's new:

  • With the Freeplay game mode, players can now purchase and flip the same house as many times as they want, without any mission restrictions. This only affects this mode, as the Classic mode will remain following the story and developments of the game.
  • The Steam Workshop's maximum file size has been upped from 3MB to 10MB. This change should better allow modders to create high-quality textures and bring about even better options for players to customise their experience.
  • A day and night controller, alongside some changes to the lighting once again to ensure that it's better tuned to what it was meant to be.

Everything else includes various bug fixes, changes to the look, and more. If you're interested in learning all of the changes, you can check out the House Flipper Remastered Collection patch notes for Hotfix 10 right here!
