Moldwasher Releases Accolades Trailer
Rubel Games and Anshar Publishing recently released their 2D cleaning simulator, Moldwasher. Taking on the role of a Nigiri protagonist, players are tasked with cleaning various household locations — kitchens, sinks, and the like — with their various tools, all in a pixelated look.
It's a new perspective and an indie take on FuturLab's PowerWash Simulator 2. We checked it out ahead of its embargo, as Violet Plata tried her hand at the different experience, being a fan of the original PowerWashSimulator franchise herself. You can learn more about her thoughts on the experience by following the link right here.
Following Moldwasher's launch on the 23rd of June 2026, the title has had a fair bit of success, including selling several thousand copies, earning a 90% positive review score on Steam, and more. To celebrate the occasion, including the critical success the title had, the team released an accolades trailer.

The short, 45-second video gives us a look at the type of comments the title got from its various reviewers (including our own!), and alongside some of the team's successes after the launch:
- 32,000 copies sold
- 531 reviews (at the time of writing)
- 90% Very Positive rating on Steam
If you're interested in checking out the trailer, you can find it embedded above. Following the success of the title, Rubel Games is also looking to release a plushie of the protagonist. If you're interested in supporting that cause, you can learn more about it in the link right here.
