S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Announces Cost of Hope Expansion Release Date in New Trailer

In March 2026, we learned about the expansion DLC coming to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, which would allow players to enjoy more of the Zone, alongside bringing a few factions into the mix. S.T.AL.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope has players reprising their role as Skif, as a new storyline unravels featuring the Duty vs Freedom factions famous in the universe.

Now, a few months after the launch of the announcement trailer, we've finally learned about the upcoming release date for those who are looking forward to it. Shown off on the official GSC Game World YouTube channel, the release date reveal trailer is just under a minute-long look at new areas and content that we can look forward to jumping into.

It's a brief look at new regions (of which there will be two), new items, and what players can expect. While it's not much — being a relatively short title — it's exciting to see what sort of content awaits stalkers in Cost of Hope.
