Temtem: Pioneers Shares a Look at the Dark Forest Stretch Goal Hit During Kickstarter
Crema is back once again with its famous creature-collecting franchise, Temtem. With a successful Kickstarter that smashed its pledge goal and managed to hit every single stretch goal available, Temtem: Pioneers is in development, set to release sometime in December 2028, according to the Kickstarter.
The team hasn't taken a backseat just yet, however, as we're getting active updates regarding the development progress for Temtem: Pioneers. For the latest update, we get a look at the Dark Forest biome, which was the fourth stretch goal that players hit.

This new look is beyond an early mock-up of ideas for the biome, as we also get to see a little bit more about how it might look in-game. Obviously, with all things work-in-progress, the Dark Forest biome might have some changes when the live version hits, but it's looking pretty promising right now.
We get a bit of a lore drop about what players can expect from the Dark Forest, with it being right under the Pansun, and how the flora grew to become bioluminescent to offer lighting in the darkest sections. Currently, the team is hoping to have one big Dark Forest biome, but they're looking at expanding it a bit to offer more spooky content.

Inside, players will find Mental Tems, which call the biome their home, and plenty of resources will be available. Crema talks about the plan to offer specific items more abundantly in the Dark Forest, giving more reason to return and harvest resources in the soft light of the glow-in-the-dark plants.
