The Stone of Madness gamescom Trailer

Teku Studios in conjunction with Merge Games released their debut trailer for the game The Stone of Madness; an isometric real time strategy and stealth action game.

Following five inmates held captive in a 15th Century abbey - they must escape the sinister grounds of this monastery maze, and hope to leave with their sanity intact.

The Stone of Madness itself is based on a medical condition recognised in the Late Middle Ages, which saw patients receive brain surgery by way of trepanation (the act of surgery via burring a hole in the skull) to remove the hypothetical stone what was believed to cause mental issues like mania or dementia - a technique similar to lobotomization.

The Stone of Madness will arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch in the Spring of 2021
