You’ll Never Guess How Many Heroes Are in 88 Heroes

88 Heroes is an old fashioned 2D platformer with, as the title suggests, 88 heroes contained within. Created by Bitmap Bureau, the game is due for release on the 8th of August and in the 88 days leading up to release, the studio will be revealing a new character every day to help promote the game. One of the 88 will be designed by fans of the game too, as they are launching a ‘Design-A-Hero’ contest soon.

“88 Heroes has been a labour of love for us at Bitmap Bureau, and is representative of the many years of 2D game development we have accumulated”, said Mike Tucker, Director at Bitmap Bureau. “It's particularly exciting for us as it's both our first console release and also the first time we've worked with Rising Star Games; a publisher with a great reputation in the industry”.
