How To Refuel In Days Gone On Steam

If you're here, then you have the same problem I once did in Days Gone: you cannot refuel your bike!

Now, this is actually due to a prompt error, which asks the player to hold B in order to refuel (when a gas can is in hand). However, as you're well aware, that is only the damn crouch button…

Luckily, there is a quick and easy fix for this: hold RB instead. Yes, the in-game prompt is inexplicably wrong. It's that simple.

This also works for fixing up your bike with scrap, recruiting rescued survivors, and refuelling generators. Again, B is the prompt, but RB is what is required.

The only slight variation on this rule is that if you pull up beside a pump to top up (whilst sitting on the bike), then the B prompt is correct. In this instance, RB shoots your firearm, so bear that in mind.
