Echoes of Aincrad Releases Official Weapon Overview Alongside Steam Next Fest Demo

Game Studio Inc. and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. are working together to bring Sword Art Online to players through an all-new immersive experience. In Echoes of Aincrad, players take on the role of a custom-made character who gets stuck in the world, battling their way for survival.

The upcoming title is set to launch on the 9th of July 2026, so players are looking forward to learning more about it ahead of its launch. Recently, we got a look at the systems that we can expect, including towns, weapons, levels, and more.

Now, we're getting a deep-dive look at the various weapon types that were teased in the Systems trailer. This time, it's a three-minute-long trailer showcasing the various combos and attacks that the weapons can do, offering a brief glance at what the combat might look like.
