Future Games Show GC 2025: Dreams of Another

Dreams of Another is an upcoming third-person exploration title that’s built about the philosophical theme of no creation without destruction; this translates into a game mechanic where players will create things in the world when they shoot. It’s being developed and published by Q-Games Ltd.

During this year’s Future Games Show, we got to see a trailer! It begins with Baiyon, the Director of the game, who is in charge of many of the game’s core aspects, as he takes us through some of the ways he gathers inspiration for the title. As an example, he shows a part of his current hometown, Kyoto, where he’s come up with some of the things that the plants and birds can say to the player, as they can speak to these things in-game

Afterwards, we get to see the second part, which is a cinematic trailer for Dreams of Another, showcasing the stylised visuals, dialogue, and, of course, the creation/destruction element of it all. Check it out for a closer look!

The game is set to release on the 10th of October for PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR 2, and Steam.
