Future Games Show GC 2025: Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - War Sails

Developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - War Sails is an upcoming DLC for the medieval strategy RPG. This expansion will take players directly to the doorstep of the of the Northern Kingdoms to fight against the vicious Nords to join or seize them. Aside from this, they’ll get to experience a new way of war: the seas!

Featuring realistic wind and water physics, the ability to board the enemy’s ship, and various naval weapons — such as ballistas — players will face their near fearsome foes in a new battleground, one that they excel at.

This is everything you can expect from Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - War Sails:

• Explore the Northern Kingdoms and fight (or join) the Nords.
• A new battleground: the seas; this includes sieges.
• Three nautical skills that help with navigation, tactics, and stewardship.
• A new questline to introduce players to the new mechanics.

• Various new ways to fight the enemy through ships, including boarding the enemy vessel and getting more hands-on.
• 18 ships modelled after historical ones.
• Characters have been expanded to fit the Nord style, including hairstyles, tattoos, and beards.
