Future Games Show GC 2025: Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree

In a complete contrast from a small handful of games currently available, Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree is “a mystical anime roguelike”, which appears to feature lots of wacky one-liners from characters throughout. This short and sweet trailer for the upcoming title was shown off at gamescom, and we’ve shared it with you because that’s the kind of thing that we do!

September the 19th marks the day that you’ll be able to play the full title, but there’s a demo already available on Steam now. The featured trailer showed how you can choose your characters, receive buffs, and explore the village the game is set in before fighting evil. An original concept it isn’t, but a beautiful fast-paced battler it is. Why not treat your eyes to all the colours and shapes up above?
