gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: Bubsy 4D

During the gamescom Opening Night Live preshow (yes, preshow!), we got a look at the upcoming Bubsy 4D! The return of the classic franchise, Bubsy returns from years ago, giving players the opportunity to restart the classic adventures but in high-fidelity, modern-time!

The new game, Bubsy 3D, showed off some gameplay during hte gamescom trailer, giving players the opportunity to check out the whimsical humour and platforming, as players take on the role of Bubsy "the orange blur". Shown off are the platforming, bosses, and even skin selection for Bubsy, including a retro version for the protagonist.

Bubsy 4D is coming out on various consoles: the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Atari, and Windows PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, GOG.
