The constant need for more and more electricity is a constant problem we face even now, so it’s easy to understand the people of the future going to extremes to solve said issue. One such attempt dug deep into the Earth with the goal of utilising the core’s massive amounts of power. Things didn’t exactly go as planned, as the eldritch horror known only as the Sludge God was released!

In John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, you hop into the armoured boots of one of the titular Toxic Commandos, gear up, team up with your buddies, and fight back the zombie hordes of mister Sludgey! Pick your favourite class, pick up a neat gun, and use a plethora of weapons (both melee and ranged) and special abilities to save the planet! Oh, and you have a bunch of vehicles to ride around on. Bumper cars, anyone?
