gamescom Opening Night Live 2025:  Routine

The gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 preshow gave us a look at a lot of trailers, and among them was none other than ROUTINE. Developer Lunar Software and publisher Raw Fury shared a trailer giving us a look at the gameplay of the title, as players will need to delve into an abandoned lunar base and face first-person sci-fi horror.

The unique artstyle is on full display in the trailer, as players will have to flee from horrible creatures and try to survive against unknown threats. The title is built around the 80s vision of the future, where incorporating unique camera-like graphics for players to engage with and immersive full-body awareness.

The trailer doesn’t only show us gameplay and a glimpse of one of the horrors we’ll be facing — it also gives us a release window for everyone excited about the game! ROUTINE is set to launch sometime in late 2025, with the Steam release date set as Q4 2025. You can wishlist the title now on Windows PC via Steam and Xbox, with the title available day-one at the Xbox Game Pass.
