gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2
Developed by The Chinese Room and published by Paradox Interactive, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 had an official trailer in Opening Night Live for the gamescom kickoff. The highly anticipated sequel to the 2004 hit title is officially done with delays — ready to get players into the fray soon!
The development cycle for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been somewhat complex, and the title isn't being developed by the original team (with The Chinese Room taking over from Troika Games). The large vampire title lets you take control of both Fabien and Phyre, letting you pick your gender for the experience. We actually got to take a look at the game, as our editor jumped into the experience first-hand — check out his preview here!
The trailer is a long, extended look at the first-person gameplay, letting you immerse yourself through a two-minute trailer. It closes out with the announcement of the pre-order and release date!
If you're interested in picking up Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, then you'll be thrilled to know that it's coming out on the 21st of October 2025 for Xbox Series X|S, the PlayStation 5, and Windows PC on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and even GOG (a boon for DRM-free lovers!). Pre-orders are available now.
