“Oh”, thought I upon the start of this trailer. “It’s a trailer for a lovely game about fishing. The tranquil view of fish in the lake is suddenly disturbed by one of them being eaten by a crocodile. Then: TANKS!!!! ALL THE TANKS!!!!. TANKS! FUCKING! EVERYWHERE!!!!!!

With so much intense firepower, it was hard to keep up after this point. But suffice to say, the explosions were as intense as the hard-rock soundtrack that accompanied them. It all culminated in a massive melee at the top of a frozen mountain, where one poor sap was surrounded and shunted off the side. The reveal then told us of the release date of v2.0 of World of Tanks

We’re told that it’ll be with us in Europe on the 3rd of September, and our friends in The Asia-Pacific region get it a couple of days earlier on the 1st of that same month. With 16 new tier 11 tanks, and a tonne of unspecified new features being added, it’s set to be the most significant update since the one where they put in the tanks. Check out the trailer above.
