Square Enix Announces Dragon Quest III: HD-2D Remake
During the recent Dragon Quest 35th anniversary live stream, Square Enix revealed Dragon Quest III: HD-2D Remake, which is planned to have a simultaneously worldwide release.
Originally released on the NES, this oddly named remake will combine pixel art with 3D effects to offer a sense of depth and atmosphere, akin to Octopath Traveler. This visual style is said to offered a fresh gameplay experience for both new and old fans alike.
